What about AD 2012 and the 'End of the World'?

The numbers in the bible is my life-long study. I have written about 200 articles on the subject. This is not a boast, but simply a statement to arrest the attention of serious inquirers. The year 2012 stands out from other years for a number of reasons. This does not mean that 2012 is the end of the world, but that something of unusual importance might occur. As we shall see, the seven years from (late) 2010 to (late) 2017 are part of an important numeric pattern, with 2012 also emphasized. Let us watch and see what will happen along the theme of "the fall of Babylon" during these years.

 

 

"Fall of Babylon", Symbol of the 'End of the Word'

In the bible, "Babylon" is a symbol of the world system. The fall of Babylon in Sept/Oct of 539 BC became a sign of the coming collapse of the world system and inauguration of the kingdom of God, (Dan. 5). This is particularly brought out in the book of Revelation in which three chapters are devoted to this theme, (Rev. 17-19). 

"Frightened by her torture, they will stand far away and say, "How terrible, how terrible it is for that great city, the powerful city Babylon! For in one hour your judgment has come!" (Rev. 18:10).

 

The book of Revelation constantly alludes back to the Old Testament. For example, the 1260 days of Rev. 11-13 alludes back to the 1290 days of Daniel 12. Both are half-seven years, the latter (1290 days) simply has a leap month of 30 days added. (See www.360calendar.com.) The full span of seven years, therefore, is 1260 + 1290 days.

In the bible, a day can symbolize a year. Therefore, it is may be significant that the fall of Babylon occurred 1290 + 1260 years before AD 2012. As said, this same time span in days, that is, 1260 + 1290 days, represents a crucial seven-year period in bible prophecy, (Dan. 12, Rev. 11-13). Moreover, this very time span in context with the fall of "Babylon" are both described in the book of Revelation, and again in the book of Daniel, (Dan. 5, 12).

 

 

 

 

Chart Explained

539 BC (fall of Babylon, symbol of end of world), plus 1260 + 1290 years equals autumn of AD 2012

Assyria was the world empire before Babylon. Babylon conquered Assyria during a siege from 614-612 BC. Importantly, the prophets also sometimes refer to Assyria as "Babylon" because Babylon was its chief city, (Isa. 13).  It happens that from 614 BC (when Babylon of the Assyrians was besieged), unto 539 BC, is 1260 plus 1335 years to AD 2012. So now we have 3.5 years (1260 days) plus both 1290 and 1335 days according the Daniel's prophecy. Daniel refers to both 1290 and 1335 days in his prophecy! (Daniel 12:9-12) " He answered, "You must go now, Daniel, because these words are to be kept secret and hidden until the end comes. Many people will be purified. Those who are wicked will not understand but will go on being wicked; only those who are wise will understand. "From the time the daily sacrifices are stopped, that is, from the time of The Awful Horror, 1290 days will pass. Happy are those who remain faithful until 1335 days are over!" 614 BC (fall of Assyria, also symbol of end of world), plus 1290 + 1335 years equals autumn of AD 2012

If that were not enough, Israel (the southern kingdom) fell to Assyria in 722 BC. It happens that if we allow BC and AD to act like a mirror, then 539 BC to AD 722 (instead of "BC") amounts to 1260 years, (Rev. 12). Thus, from 614 BC to AD 722 is 1335 years.  And also from 539 BC to AD 722 is 1260 years.  And from AD 722 to AD 2012 is 1290 years!   This mirror effect could be construed as a mere coincidence, however, the effect is consistent with all major biblical events as already demonstrated. (See "The Amazing BC/AD Mirror Effect".) Moreover, 2012 is also aligned in several other key ways, such as the 490-year cycles, (Dan. 9).   Thus, it happens that AD 2012 lies at the intersection of all important time frames in the bible, and while other dates can be shown to be important, yet only 2012 lies at the intersection of them all!  And what is time to God? "I am God, and there is none like me; declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying, My counsel shall stand", Isaiah 46:10. Update on March 8, 2012: God gave a remarkable sign using a powerful solar flare that was timed to the very minute so as to be consistent with the above numerical pattern. Please note: 
The additional time span of 1260 + 1335 years to AD 2012 from the fall of Jerusalem (Judah) in 586 BC is explained in the document, "My Struggle with 2012", along with the numeric connection of the above 1876 and 1446 BC.

This means that the 2008 economic collapse, the worst since the Great Depression, is 1290 + 1260 + 1335 years from when the seven-year famine of Joseph began, (that is, from 1878 BC). (See above chart). Hence, all the major biblical time frames, 1260, 1290, 1335, land on 2008. And since the famine lasted seven years, this makes 2012 roughly in the middle of this seven years. Keep in mind that I put the above chart on the internet some 15 years before the economic collapse of 2008! 

(Note: Because the Israelite entry into Egypt occurred two years into the seven-year famine, on Passover of 1876 BC, therefore, the sign that God gave me of 15-more-years of grace is also exactly 1290 + 1260 + 1335 years from when they entered Egypt! I believe that this also means that the economic collapse of Sept., 2008 has been cut short (or dulled down) in mercy. Indeed, all the dates in the above chart intersect at 2012!

No other date does this!

Two Signs 
About the Fall of Babylon

Babylon, the Sign of Saddam

God already gave us a great sign about the coming "fall of Babylon" by predicting the death of Saddam Hussein, "King of Babylon" --- to the very day from when the Mene Tekel Bible Code was discovered. (Iraq is ancient Babylon. Images here are of statue of Saddam being toppled by the American soldiers in Iraq/Babylon, and of crazed Saddam at his capture.)

Moreover, God used the very same time frame in this prediction, that is of 1260 + 1260 days, plus the leap month to make 1260 + 1290 days! This was predicted years ahead of time. (See the sign of the "Writing on the Wall and the Execution of Saddam Hussein", 'King of Babylon'.) 

Perhaps this first prediction about this king of Iraq/Babylon was a sign of something greater? 

Something soon? 

A sign of something ominous, 2012?

 

Moreover, another 1260 (and/or) 1290 days after the death of Saddam is the summer of 2010, which is the start of the seven year period explained in the chart. This is accurate to the very day! Thus we have seven year periods intersecting seven year periods in the exact middle. Thus, the sign of Saddam Hussein is directly connected to the seven-year period that spans 2010-2017.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Babylon, the Sign of the World Trade Center Collapse

Moreover, this same time frame once again elapsed between the collapse of the World Trade Center (another type of the fall of "Babylon") and the collapse of World Trade (i.e., our current recession). (See Why world trade collapsed seven years after World Trade Center (9/11).")

 

World trade collapsed 1260 + 1290 (2550 days), and also 1260 + 1290 + 7 (2557 days) days, after the collapse of the World Trade Center. ("2557 days" is our modern seven-year period of 365.25 days in a year.) If this pattern holds true, then perhaps we are looking at the year 2012, plus the seven years that follow?

539 BC + 2550 years = AD 2012

539 BC + 2557 years = AD 2019

 

Here is a quote from the article on the two seven-year periods from the fall of the World Trade Center:

"This intersecting of weeks occurs because seven years on our calendar amounts to 2557 days, however, on the 360 calendar it amounts to 2550 days (seven days less), thus making Sept. 4, 2008 the seventh anniversary of 9/11 on the 360 calendar, which lands seven days before Sept. 11 in 2008. (Thus Sept. 4, 2008, was the seventh anniversary of 9/11 on the 360 calendar, but the anniversary on our common {Gregorian} calendar was, of course, Sept. 11, 2008.)"

 

Also, keep in mind that the above two signs are related to each other. It was the fall of the Trade Center that ultimately led to the Iraq war, and thus the death of Saddam. And the pictogram bible code binds these two signs together as well.

But, perhaps all this is just coincidence!

God has been revealing to me the meaning of biblical time frames long ago, beginning Oct 22, 1991.)

A Word of Caution

The main purpose of anything prophetic is to buttress our faith and anchor us firmly in Christ Jesus for salvation ALONE! Any type of prophecy that does not accomplish this objective is faulty from the start. God thwarts self-centered ambitions to ascertain the future if His glory is not our objective.

God has repeatedly enabled me to predict future events down to the day when they would occur, sometimes years ahead. (See "Bible Code Predictions" for examples.) However, in my earlier years I had to learn an important lesson: 'Just because I observe a numeric pattern in the bible that hints at a future date, (such as the "1260 + 1290 years to 2012"), this does not mean that it will necessarily happen. There are always other numeric possibilities that must be considered.'

(For example, a seven-year period on the regular Jewish calendar is 2539/2540 or 2569 days. This, as years, from Sept/Oct, 539 BC (fall of Babylon), spans to AD Sept/Oct 2001 (or 2002), and to 2031. Sept. of 2001 was already the sign of the collapse of the Twin Towers as just discussed, but perhaps 2031 will prove significant? It already is for a number of reasons. For example, AD 2031 is about 2000 years from the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the "third day", and thus the "rise" of the "3rd millennial day".)

It is when both numeric pattern and personal prophecy come together that I have stepped out and said what I felt God wanted me to say. Prophecy can be burdensome, and the prophetic element must be exceptional for me to publicly act on it. One needs at least two witnesses concerning a prophecy to act on it. Personally, I do not publicly proclaim anything without at least three witnesses of some sort. That is, three separate witnesses to a predicted future event. For me, this usually means the following...

 

1.)  A solid numeric pattern

2.)  A Bible code pictogram that itself has to meet extremely stringent requirements

3.)  Powerful signs or wonders that are usually visible to the whole world

4.)  And, each of the above must reveal Jesus Christ and honor Him

When I predicted the future, it was about relatively minor events such as the Iraq war --- although these minor events foreshadow still future major events. But note, I was not predicting the end of the world! However, most of the 2012-predictions are the end-of-the-world type predictions. I would be very wary of these! The bible tells us that no one knows exactly when that will be because it is not good for us to know. 

Jesus said:

"No one knows when that day or hour will come-not the angels in heaven, not the Son, but only the Father. Be careful! Watch out! For you don't know when the time will come," (Mark 13:32-33).

 

But we can learn some things.

For instance, we generally know that there will be a peace treaty signed in the last days for "One week", (Daniel 9:24-27). But how and when this will occur is unknown. However, we do have many examples in the bible, and even in recent world events, that suggest likely scenarios for how this coming "peace treaty" in Israel will play out, at least numerically. For one important modern-day example, see the "Geneva-peace-treaty-covenant-Israel".

The purpose of these predictions that God revealed to me is simply this: "To illustrate how numeric prophecy works, and thus how it will again work in the climatic fearful future as predicted by the prophets of the bible" --- whenever that will be! Because, when that day comes, believers will be crying and sighing, asking, "How long, O' Lord?" (Rev. 6:10).

 

 

The Role of Prophets and Prophecy

The role of prophets, both bible prophets and those spiritually gifted today, is to spur each other on and to be heavenly minded rather than engrossed in this world. Moreover, all prophets do not see with equal clarity, nor do they operate in their gift the same way. There is much diversity.  

There is but one way that you can tell a true prophet from a false prophet, and a true prophecy from a false prophecy (even if false predictions come to pass). If the prophet or prophecy does not anchor your soul in Christ and reveal and honor Christ Jesus as Lord, then it is false.

"Therefore, I want you to know that no one who is speaking by God's Spirit can say, "Jesus is cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. There are varieties of gifts, but the Spirit is the same; and there are varieties of ministries, but the Lord is the same; and there are varieties of results, but God is the same, and it is he who produces all the results in everyone," (1Cor. 12:3-6).

My particular gift from the Lord is the ability to understand secrets, such as picture codes, but I have come to realize that without love all is vain.

"If I have the gift of prophecy and can understand all secrets and every form of knowledge, and if I have absolute faith so as to move mountains but have no love, I am nothing," (1Cor. 13:2).

 

There are numerous ways that God speaks through His prophets. Look at the variety of ways God communicated through the prophets in bible days. But in each and every case the great object of their prophecy was "Christ". And this is still true today.

"And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren that hold the testimony of Jesus: worship God; for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, " (Rev. 19:10).

A Sign of the "Fall of Babylon"? I originally wrote this article Feb. 2, 2008  and then updated it today, Sept. 11, 2009 After updating this article, I realized that today is the 8th anniversary of 9-11, the fall of the Twin Towers, which was itself a sign of the fall of Babylon as explained in many other articles. However, 11 years after 9-11 is the year 2012, (Sept 11). The number "11" keeps coming up in association with the fall of these towers. And Sept. 11, 2012, happens to be the "7th month, 10th day" on the 360-calendar, which is therefore "The Day of Atonement", on the 360-calendar, a day associated with judgement in the bible! And, as said, is 1260 + 1290 years back to the fall of Babylon. Perhaps the timing of this revision is just a coincidence! But since "coincidences" keep happening, I note them!  The Swine Flu prediction is also associated with the year 2012, on "The Day of Atonement". Another coincidence is that the stock market closed (today), 9-11, at the same number 8 years ago when the Twin Towers collapsed! (I.e., at "9605".) But all that I have written above still stands: Prophecy is rarely crystal clear.

 

 

 

Why Prophetic Warnings?

1. To demonstrate that God holds the keys of death and hell, and is in control of every calamity.

2. To encourage Christians that their suffering will end in the timing of God, just as it also came in the timing of God.

3. To warns sinners that God holds their life in His hands and therefore they should fear Him and repent.

A prophetic warning does not mean that the prophesied event will certainly come to pass, but that it will if God permits. It is contingent on how men respond, including His intercessors. Picture if you would, horses straining at a rope tied to the ground impatient to be loosed. Even so are some messengers of death, (Zech. 6:7).

(GNB) "As the dappled horses came out, they were impatient to go and inspect the earth. The angel said, "Go and inspect the earth!"---and they did."  

 

Warnings are given systematically on a timetable with great signs observable to all thereby demonstrating that the warnings are not of human origin, but from God. Thus, the fact that, for instance, the Swine Flu began in the month predicted, which is now threatened the world, does not necessarily mean that it will eventually sweep the world with millions of deaths. However, it is a warning timed on God's calendar, and if He lets it loose, it will happen! This is also true of the warnings concerning the economic collapse, or of war. Do not despise the mercy of God that leads you to repentance!
