How the Record-Hurricanes
were all timed by God!

A summary of hurricanes of notoriety
as it relates to the Balance Bible Code
along with numeric timeline

For almost two years now (update: make that 3.5 years!), we have been tracking hurricanes of notoriety as they relate to the Balance Bible Code. These storms have followed time frames that begin from when this code was first revealed. (Review this bible code for its thematic relationship of the 'stilling of storms'.) Moreover, most of the picture bible codes were discovered on important dates such as Pentecost and Tabernacles, and on specific years of importance to do with the code itself. And those dates in which the picture codes were discovered, in turn, are linked numerically to one another. (The picture codes themselves also overlap one another along numeric grids as demonstrated elsewhere.) An example of how the timing of the codes are linked numerically to one another is given at the bottom of this page. The point is that all the picture bible codes are interrelated thematically, pictorially, and numerically --- within the code itself, but also as to when the code was discovered. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate at a glance how world events (in this case, hurricanes of notoriety) have been occurring on a time grid in relation to when the Balance Bible Code was initially discovered. (See the Mene Tekel Bible Code for an entirely separate example of this kind of phenomenon as it relates to the Twin Towers and the subsequent Iraq [Babylon} war.)

 

The hurricanes are being timed to coordinate with the date when God revealed the Balance Bible Code. This occurred on the morning (about 8 am EST) of Sunday, June 27, 2004.  (Significantly, both Wilma and Alpha occurred during the seven days of tabernacles, as did Katrina except on the 360 prophetic calendar.) The "490" ["seventy weeks"] of Dan. 9 is especially relevant to this present study. (See Alpha-Beta for more on that.) We will not explain the meaning of these time frames here, but will give bible references as well as links for detailed study on each storm. As discussed at the end of this document, a 1260-day period (or 1290) is being forwarded from the time of Ezekiel unto the present beginning June 27, 2004, which also happens to be when the Balance Bible Code was discovered. (The Balance Bible Code and the Ezekiel passage are also related thematically in many ways.) This 1260-day period as revealed in the book of Ezekiel spans between the end of when Ezekiel finished laying on his side for 390 days in order to depict the coming siege of Jerusalem unto when the actual siege of Jerusalem began in fulfillment of his prophecy and visual depiction. This 1260 days is forwarded to the present by 1260 + 1335 years. This 1260 + 1335 years essentially represents a seven-year period except in units of years rather than days. These things are explained further at the end of this document and throughout the various websites. Essentially, years are intersecting days of equal value. One of the purposes of this study is to demonstrate how the bible numbers work in the here and now so that we can better understand them for that future event called, "The Great Tribulation Period."

We risk missing the easily-grasped 490-day time frame by focusing in on the minor details. To avoid this we will first go over the main time frame that uses the "70 weeks" (490 days) of Daniel 9. Once again, please see the bible numbers website for the meaning and working of this particular prophecy.

We will show that there are seventy weeks from the 390th and the 430th day that Ezekiel lay on his side as per Ezekiel 4 (up the said 1260 + 1335 years), unto the last seven named storms of the 2005 hurricane season. The last six of these seven storms were named after the first letters of the Greek Alphabet. That in itself is highly unusual since no storm has ever had to be named after a letter of the Greek Alphabet. This is only happens when the regular names are exhausted. Hurricane Wilma, the most powerful storm ever seen in the Atlantic, was that last named storm before the Greek letters were used. Again, keep in mind that the 390th and 430th day of Ezekiel's siege (1260 + 1335 years later) is also when the Balance Bible Code was revealed, and that the Balance Bible Code speaks about these storms, several of them by name as recorded on the internet over a year before they happened! (Storms Beta, Delta, and Zeta --- each are 490 days from the 390th and 430th day of Ezekiel, and with the extra leap month that occurs with the 360 bible prophecy calendar. Also see Hurricane Epsilon named in the Balance Bible Code acrostic.) Also note that the 490-day span to these storms was not noticed merely after the fact, but in part deduced beforehand. Moreover, Zeta, the last named storm of the season, is shown to not only have been named over a year earlier but that the very day it occurred was encoded as well. While I recorded this code way back then, yet I only understood it at that time as a general reference to the six destroying weapons of Ezekiel 8, and not specifically to a then future named storm by that name and number, although I was aware, generally speaking, that the bible code was predicting storms beginning with Hurricane Charlie. 

So what is important about the fall of 2005 and this sign of the 490 days (seventy weeks)?

Why give this sign now?

It happens that the fall of 2005 (of the storms) is 490 x 5 (or 49 x 50) years from the fall of 446 BC when the "word came" to Nehemiah that led to the decree of Artaxeres for Nehemiah to return and oversee the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem as per the prophecy of Daniel 5. (As discussed elsewhere, both when the "word" came to Nehemiah concerning the state of the walls of Jerusalem, and of Artaxeres decree just three months later, both are in fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel 9, and therefore of the countdown of the 490. This is because the prophecy does not state explicitly that it is from a 'decree' to rebuild the walls that the 490 'days/years' begins, but the prophecy simply states, "From the issuing of the word to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah comes". Anyone who has studied this prophecy (Daniel 9) should immediately understand the significance of 2005/2006 as five times the 490th year from this word/decree. This decree of Nehemiah is understood by the majority of scholars to be the decree of Daniel's prophecy and thus the beginning of the 490-year countdown to Messiah's first coming. Yet the prophecy also speaks about His second coming. Therefore, logically speaking, the 490 x 5 cycles unto now infers this second coming. (The 490 itself has to do with the jubilees as "49 x 10" or "70 x 7", as per the breakdown given to us in the prophecy itself.) Our sign of the 490 days unto the record hurricanes/storms Alpha to Zeta (the 'A' to the 'Z') in the year 2005/2006, therefore, underscores the importance of 490 x 5 (a jubilee times a jubilee) as a sign of Christ's second coming. God is saying that Jesus will return soon. It may be this year, it may be in 10 years, but God is reminding us that He is coming soon, and is giving signs to motivate us all to keep ourselves ready for His return. For, just as Nehemiah unexpectedly returned the second time after his first one in 446 BC (Neh. 13:6-7), even so Jesus will return a second time at an hour that we do not expect.

The 3.5-years of comets are reckoned as commencing from the Passover evening of April 5th (the start of Nisan/Abib 15th), which includes the next 7 days of "Passover Week" to April 13th, 2004, which day begins the evening prior according to Jewish and biblical reckoning.

There is a seven-day period at each juncture of the seven-year period as seen below in the chart and table. This, in turn, is being forwarded the seven years of years back to the time of the fall of Jerusalem in the days of Ezekiel the prophet. Thus, days are intersecting years of equal value, (seven days equals seven years), which in turn intersects years of years. (Example: 1260 + 1335 days intersects another 1260 + 1335 days exactly 1260 + 1335 years later! The last storm to form of this season began to form 1260 days after the Balance Bible Code, and so capped off this period of 'signs on the earth', or at least I thought! God continued to work the same sign except "in the mirror".

 

 

 

 

Note concerning the intricacies of the timing 
between the discoveries of the picture bible codes

A simple example is the Hand Bible Code, (part of the Mene Tekel Bible Code). They both have to do with the fall of Babylon and being "weighing in the Balances!" They both were discovered 1290 + 1335 years after the rise of Babylon in 626 BC, (see Dan. 12 and Rev. 12 for numeric.) (See www.1260-1290-days-bible-prophecy.org for more on meaning of these numbers!) The "writing-hand" was discovered on Pentecost, 2000. As said, the hand and the mene codes are inseparable and are both embedded in Daniel 5 only a dozen verses apart. The last part of the mene bible code refers to a lamp weighing and being weighed in the Balances. Then it happens that 360 x 4 days later, plus 40 days, the Balance/Lamp Bible Code was discovered. (A prophetic year in the bible is 360 days.) (We will not detail the full numeric here as we have already done that at great length elsewhere.) It happens that the Balance Bible Code was discovered, as said, 4 x 360 + 40 days later, that is, on the morning (about 8 am EST) of Sunday, June 27, 2004. (Interestingly, the very next day Iraq, which is ancient Babylon, was givens its sovereign rule back by the American). That day happened to be 1260 + 1335 years from the 390th day that Ezekiel laid on his side to bear the sins of the house of Israel (360 calendar), (Ezekiel 4). 

The theme of bearing sin agrees perfectly with the thrust of the entire Balance Bible Code (along with its surface text). And since scholars debate whether the 40 days that Ezekiel laid on his side for Judah is part of the whole 390 days, or is added to it (i.e., 350 + 40 = 390 days or, 390 + 40 = 430 days), this would mean, then, that the 40 days of the said "4 x 360 '+ 40'" can intersect with the 40 days of this 390, --- as can the entire 4 x 360, but that is another story! 

The 40 days also relates to the 40 days from Pentecost that Moses was up Mount Sinai, which is also why there are the 4 years and 40 days between the two codes. Along with the 360 calendar, the Balance Bible Code was also discovered on the literal anniversary of when Ezekiel completed his 390 days, which literally was on Tammuz 17 or 18th of 592 BC, which was also the anniversary of when Moses came down the Mount (40 days after Pentecost) and broke the law (written by the hand of God) against the mountain by the river. (This reminds us of the plaster that fell as God's hand wrote "Mene Tekel Peres" upon the Babylonian palace wall.) Then, 1260 + 1335 years later (plus Ezekiel's 390 days, Tammuz 593-592 BC) spans to AD 2004, Tammuz 17 or 18th (July 6), which is when the Balance/Lamp image itself was discovered! And then begins the 40 days that follows Ezekiel's 390 days, which happens to be on the same anniversary of the second 40 days that Moses went up the mount! Thus, the two 40's of Moses occur on the same anniversaries of the two 40's of Ezekiel --- 350 + 40 = 390, + 40 = 430 --- which is all the more interesting when we realize that Moses was born 350 years after Israel was in Egypt, but fled Egypt when he was 40 (thus 390 years into their captivity), and then returned to take Israel out of Egypt with him 40 years later when he was 80, which was therefore the 430th year of their captivity. (Therefore, days and years concur.)

Of course none of this was or even could be planned by any man, either in the past nor in the present. For while the river line of code was discovered on the said date of June 27, 2004, yet the image itself was not discovered for another 9 or 10 days. Only after pondering the bible code all day on July 18th (Tammuz 17) was the image itself discovered at about 10 pm, which being after sunset meant that it was the next day on the Jewish calendar, that is, Tam. 18. Interestingly, Saddam stood trial for the first time on July 1, 2004, which was Tam. 12 on the Jewish calendar --- the anniversary of when Ezekiel began to symbolically besieged Jerusalem by laying on his side the said 390 days!

We have only scratched the surface of the numeric connection between just these two Balance Codes. It is also interesting that 1260 x 1000 days after 1447 BC, Tishri 12 and 21/22 (Tabernacles) on the 360 calendar to when this bible code was discovered and then the image itself 9 or 10 days later --- is also when approximately the plagues upon Egypt commenced, (Tishri of 1447 BC). The tenth and last plague also forwarded by 1260 x 1000 days coincides with great Tsunami on Dec. 26, 2004, and far more than that.

The point of all this is that all the picture bible codes are interrelated thematically, pictorially, and numerically --- both within the code itself and also when the bible code was revealed.

 

And the pattern continues... even to the present ... because in turn, there are 430 x 2 more years to the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC about which Ezekiel was enacting when he lay on his side 430 days with his replica city and ramparts, which he began to do exactly 7 years before the literal city fell, (Tam. 593 to Tam. 586 BC). (Thus, there are a total of three sets of 430-year periods, which is 1290 years, or half-a-seven years of years, which then intersects 1290 days as per below chart... years intersecting days in several ways --- hand in glove --- lock and key ... and so on ... with the first period (of the 1290 years and days) spanned in both being 390 and 430 years and days! Moreover, the 1290 years becomes 1260 if we allow for the round "400 years in Egypt" rather than the exact "430 years" agreeing with the 1260 days as well! And then we have 1290 + 1290 to the present as well! (See Writing on the Wall Bible Numbers Website for more about this Ezekiel pattern, which was put on web prior to the discovery of the Writing on the Wall [Mene Tekel] Bible Code!) 

Replicas!

So then, as Ezekiel besieged Jerusalem by setting up a crude model replica of the city and putting model siege ramps against it, etc., so God did it again except this time with the model (pictogram) of a Lamp/Balance using the Balance Bible Code! (As He also did with the Mene Tekel Banner Bible Code and the others.) The picture code is just a symbolic representation of the real thing in heaven. And as He reveals these things in these replicas on earth in the picture codes so He performs His mighty acts in keeping with the models (picture bible codes), acting them out in accord with the numeric revealed in Ezekiel's own replica! And who are we to say that God cannot do today what He did in Ezekiel's day! Is He not "the same yesterday, today, and forever!" As Ezekiel besieged the city with his replica, so God is doing the same again with the replicas of the picture bible codes. He is besieging the cities of the world, though they do not know it, and neither did Jerusalem in Ezekiel's day, for Ezekiel was himself already in exile at the time and so Jerusalem did not know. And Ezekiel was just a "sign" (Ezek. 24:24) of Him who was to come, that is, Christ Jesus. And His many prophets today amount to the same thing, no more and no less. And "no" I am not a special messenger or anything, but just one of the many that speak prophetically. God called me to reveal part of that mystery spoken of by the prophet Daniel in Dan. 12, and I have done poorly in my own estimation.

Between these two sieges (Ezekiel's and the literal one by the Babylonians about which he prophesied) are 1260 days, which is half the total said seven years that span between the start of Ezekiel's siege and the end of the literal one by the Babylonians. (Tam. 593 to Tam. 586 BC). It is this hidden 1260 days (3.5 years) that occurs in-between the sieges that God seems to be progressing along presently using the Balance Bible Code and the hurricanes as He demonstrates His mighty acts to those that have ears to hear and eyes to see. All this points to another day known in the bible and to students of bible prophecy as "The great seven-years tribulation period." By dividing up the seven years in this way God also brings out the "Time, Times, and Half-a-time" pattern of the 1260 spoken of in the bible, except that this hidden 1260 spans in-between the first "Time" and remaining "Times and half-a-time," ---for Ezekiel's siege lasted one year, and the literal siege lasted two-a-half years for a total of 3.5 years, or "a time, times, and half-a-time"! (The 390 days is simply 360 plus a leap month of 30 days, [the same holds true for the 1260 and 1290 days].)

Therefore, Ezekiel’s "390" is simply one segment in the breakdown of the 1290 of Daniel as was the full "430" of Ezekiel, (i.e., 430 x 3 = 1290; and 390 + 720 + 180 = 1290 too). All this can be fine-tuned to the exact "hour and day and month and year," (Revelation 9:15, cf. Ezekiel 5:2).

The Leap Month:

If it were not complex enough, AD 1995 normally would have been a leap year with 390 days, (360 + 30 days), (see www.360calendar.com for details). But that year was very special in that every 3840 years and/or 4000 years a leap month is omitted that usually would have been added. Spring of AD 1995 just happened to be the year for this anomaly. This means that for the next 160 years (3840 + 160 = 4000) the two calendars differ by one leap month of 30 days. Since the 3840-year calendar is the primarily one (being accurate forever to a true solar year), it is the one that I use in my websites unless otherwise noted. The effect is to put forward all dates on the 360 calendar by 30 days if the 4000 year cycle is observed rather than the 3840. (The two are meant to do this!) 

Thus, instead of June 27, 2004 (Av 12 on 360 calendar) being the 390th day of Ezekiel's siege (up the said 1260 + 1335 years), July 28th, 2004 would be Av 12 instead, making June 27 as only Tammuz 12, and so forth, if we use the secondary 4000-year cycle. (Remember, we are talking about the 360 prophetic calendar, not the Jewish calendar.) God did many signs that summer of 2004 to make it clear to me then that He was using both calendars systems in reference to Balance Bible Code. Thus, when sets of hurricanes repeated themselves spaced apart by exactly 30 days (such as Alpha and Beta precisely 30 days apart to the very hour from Gamma and Delta) it was expected.

 

More on the 30 days as viewed from an entirely different angle so that either way we see an extra 30 days possible after the code to the hurricanes:  (Note: The following is not that important, except if one wants to understand more of the intricacies of the bible numbers! It does not affect the outcome of the basic chart concerning the numeric spanning from the code to the hurricanes.)

There were three events recorded for us in the summer of 592 BC in Ezekiel's prophetic ministry. One was the end of the 390 days (as discussed), and the other was 40 more days after the 390 to make a total of 430 days. However, Ezekiel records at length for us another very important event that occurred 23 days after the 390 days of Ezekiel's siege (Ezekiel 8-10). It occurred on Elul 5, 592 BC (in both Jewish and 360 calendars). This was when God sent forth the angels with the destroying weapons over the city to do in the spirit what was to be done in the flesh 3.5 years later. This cannot be adequately explained here, but this is addressed in the bible numbers websites. 

But, briefly stated, AV 12 was the 390th day of Ezekiel's siege (360 calendar) , and was the end of a inferred full week spanning Av 5-12, and is thus 30 days before Elul 5 -12th of the prophecy about the destroying weapons. Thus, there is another event up 30 days after the 390 and this creates the same effect as did the leap-month as to the timing of the hurricanes. 

The seven days that Ezekiel sat astonished at his call (Ezek. 1) corresponds to the next 7 years terminating with the fall of Jerusalem 7 years and plus and minus 3.5 days later. (Tam. 5-12, 592 BC, plus 1260 + 1290 days = midnight Tam 9, the fall of Jerusalem. The temple fell one month later, or 1290 + 1290 days, which is 430 x 6, agreeing with the first 430 of Ezekiel. [There are other 430's as well!]) 

A careful examination of the dates in the book of Ezekiel reveal that this "week" at his call is being forwarded in many if not all of the dates in his book. Notice how major events in the book of Ezekiel often happen during the week of the 5th to the 12th. I will not try to prove this now, but I will simply state it matter of fact. For example, the destroying weapons were sent out, as said, Elul 5, 592 BC (which is when God showed me the picture code about "Zeta/Zayin", up the 1260 + 1335 years --- 4000-year calendar.) (A Zayin is a weapon in Hebrew, and can also mean the number "seven." The ELS was also at a skip of seven.) Elul 5 implies the week of Elul 5 to Elul 12. The same holds true for when the siege of Jerusalem began, on Tebeth 10 (implying Tebeth 5-12. (The 5 + 2-day pattern can also be explained, but we resist!) The temple fell two-and-a-half years later on AV 10 (or Av 7) (586 BC, --- a month after the city fell). This again infers the week of Av 5 to 12. And then the first refugee arrives to announce to Ezekiel that the city had fallen, this was on Tebeth 5, 586 BC --- three year after the siege had begun. Again, this implies that Teb 5-12 is being highlighted. And so we see that the week of Ezekiel's call is being forwarded to the other events of his prophecy. 

(There were 1075 days between the start of the actual siege by the Babylonians unto the arrival of the first refugee, which is 2.5 x 430 days agreeing with the 2.5 x 360 days of the actual siege --- for there are "time-times-and half-a-time" of both years and of cycles of 430's too, --- also both in years and days intersecting! But that is another story! Everything of everything in the bible numbers have at least two or three witnesses to them. There are no exceptions.)

So then, the seven days of Ezekiel's call is being forwarded to the other recorded major dates in his book.

Why is this?

The purpose is to illustrate that another future seven-year period would in the same way be forwarded, that is seven years of years (called "weeks" in Dan. 9) or 1290 + 1290 years unto the present time; and also, the purpose of forwarding this literal week of Ezekiel's call to overlap with the other dates of his book was to highlight what day in the week was special since that week symbolizes seven years and thus pertains to certain aspects of bible prophecy. (For example, the middle of the week was especially important when the city fell, being the middle of Tam 5-12, that is, on about midnight of Tam 9, 586 BC  --- seven years after Ezekiel's seven-day call. Days and years intersecting, and then years of years intersecting with that, and then symbolic years of days intersecting with that, about which I have not even mentioned here! And then...)

And all this is just the tip of the ice burg. For eventually the minds reels at the precision of these things.

Miscellaneous Notes of Related Interest

Hurricane Tornadoes 2004

The year 2004 will be remembered not only for its large number of significant and damaging landfalling tropical cyclones, but also for the number and destructiveness of the tornadoes they spawned. According to preliminary counts, the six tornado land falling TCs spawned some 312 tornadoes, the most of any year since reliable records have become available. The TC tornadoes were the single biggest reason why both August and September posted record large tornado counts in 2004. To help put the 2004 season in perspective, recall that the number of tornadoes documented in the largest extant TC tornado climatology, which spanned a 39-year period from 1948-1986, was only 626 (McCaul 1991). The count for 2004 alone is almost half that amount! Thus, it appears that the 2004 season yielded some 15 YEARS worth of TC tornadoes, even accounting for the tendency for numbers to be larger in recent years owing to improved detection and reporting.

Of the six landfalling TCs that spawned tornadoes, two produced major outbreaks that rival the reigning champion, Hurricane Beulah of 1967. Frances spawned some 108 tornadoes from 4-8 September, only to be followed by Ivan, with another 108 tornadoes during 15-17 September. Ivan produced at least 4 killer tornadoes, the first TC to accomplish this feat since 1891, according to severe weather historian Tom Grazulis (Grazulis 1993). As of the end of September 2004, landfalling TCs had accounted for six of the 14 killer tornadoes in the United States, and 11 of the 28 deaths. More complete statistics will be presented at the conference in San Diego.

One of the biggest ironies of the 2004 season was the fact that all the TC tornadoes occurred east of a line extending from near Pensacola, Florida, up through the Appalachian Mountains. This was the result of a persistent flow pattern that featured a recurrent long-wave trough over or west of the Appalachians, with the western tip of the Bermuda High lying just east of the Georgia coast. As a consequence, many Atlantic coast states experienced the brunt of a number of major tropical cyclones, and saw either their biggest annual tornado totals or biggest tornado outbreaks of record. States like Virginia and South Carolina now sport larger peak annual tornado totals records than states farther west like Alabama and Mississippi. The TCs of 2004 have truly rewritten the tornado record books!

Although the favored geographical region for TC tornadoes in 2004 was unusually far east, the characteristics of the TCs themselves were well in line with what previous research has shown to be predictive of TC tornado productivity (see, e.g., McCaul 1991). The two biggest tornado producers, Frances and Ivan, were both quite large, and had peak intensity ratings of category 4 and 5 respectively, before interacting with the North American continent. Furthermore these TCs moved at moderate forward speeds, consistent with earlier climatologies which showed that TCs that move either too slowly or too fast tend to have diminished tornado potential. The TC tornado outbreaks were also well-behaved in the sense that nearly all the tornadoes occurred in the right-front or northeast quadrants of the TCs. Furthermore, the weak baroclinic boundaries identified in a recently published study of a 1994 TC tornado outbreak (McCaul {\etal} 2004) were also evident in the major TC tornado events of 2004. The tornadic potentials of Frances, Ivan and Jeanne were duly noted by the Storm Prediction Center, which for the first time issued a number of Moderate Risk outlooks for expected TC tornado activity.

Cyclone Monica 

The tropical cyclone Monica that was forecast to strike Darwin was one of the most powerful ever recorded in the whole world! It was more powerful than record breaking hurricane Wilma. Cat 5 Monica had gusts to 350 km an hour a little before it made landfall.

Storms ... a late cyclone season has contributed to the record rainfall / file

A LATE monsoon and Cyclone Monica have combined to produce record rainfall figures for Darwin.

With three days to go until the end of April, there has already been a record amount of rainfall in Darwin since records were first kept 65 years ago, with 383mm recorded since April 1.

The previous April record of 357mm for Darwin was recorded in 1953.

Almost 300mm of rain fell at Goat Island in the 24 hours to 9am yesterday. (Equals 667.5 days or half of said 1335 days.)

Adelaide River east recorded 225mm during the same period, while 187mm fell at the Adelaide River post office.

The daily rainfall record for April in the Territory is 545mm at Roper Valley in 1963.

 

Weather bureau senior forecaster Sam Cleland said it was unusual for the Territory to be hit with a late monsoon and an intense cyclone in April.

"April is usually the transition month between the Wet and the Dry," he said.

"We started the month with a late burst of monsoonal activity that dumped a substantial amount of rainfall and topped it up with an intense cyclone at the end."

The dry season starts on May 1.

"Now ex-Cyclone Monica is moving away from the Territory the likelihood of rainfall should decrease," Mr Cleland said.

Ex-Cyclone Monica has weakened to a tropical low centered around the Daly River and is expected to move into Western Australia's Kimberley region in the next few days with the potential to reintensify into a cyclone.

Cyclone spares Darwin, but threatens WA

Cyclone Monica has spared Darwin and has weakened to a tropical low, but may intensify again before menacing Western Australia.

Monica was packing winds of up to 350kph near its core when it touched down on Monday night at Maningrida, in the far north of the Northern Territory. (Equals the said 666 days.)

However, the former category five cyclone significantly weakened once it made landfall.

The storm traveled further south and further inland than predicted, sparing Darwin what had been feared would an even more destructive storm than Cyclone Tracy that devastated the city in December 1974.

Darwin received rain and winds of up to 60kph as the cyclone weakened from a category one to a tropical low at about 1pm (CST) on Tuesday.

Monica first made landfall along a peninsula in neighboring Queensland state on April 19, damaging an estimated 15% of the homes in the Lockhart River area before passing over the Gulf of Carpentaria and re-intensifying, Australian weather officials said.

Queensland is still cleaning up from Cyclone Larry, which hit March 20, causing an estimated A$350 million (US$261 million) in insured losses. Insurance Australia Group Ltd. (ASX:IAG) is estimating its losses from Cyclone Larry at between A$100 million and A$135 million (BestWire, April 24, 2006). (Note the 30 days between these two great tropical storms and the 30 days mentioned as from the 390th day of Ezekiel, etc., and the leap month. It works out to 30 + 630.5 days.)

See the crocodile story that made headlines as they cleaned up from cyclone Monica! I understand this as a God-given analogy. The tree meant to be cut at the top represents the evolutionary tree in which it is claimed that man is the top of the tree and that we are descended from the fish/crocodile lower down the evolutionary tree. In the garden of Eden, the dragon (crocodile) (that is Satan) reached to the top of this tree and caused man to fall. However, the lie is that such a tree even exists, for in reality God made man, and man is not the result of brute evolution as claimed by Charles Darwin, after whom the spared city of Darwin was named.

Angry croc in chainsaw massacre

In a bizarre incident near Darwin yesterday, a 4.4m saltwater crocodile named Brutus stood on its tail, reached up a tree and snatched a chainsaw from a handyman...

"It was unbelievable," said the relieved chainsaw operator, mining worker Fred Buckland. "It all happened so quickly."

The drama unfolded at about 9am at Corroboree Park Tavern, 80km southeast of Darwin, where several trees had blown over as a result of wind from Cyclone Monica, which passed through the area early in the week. One had fallen against a crocodile enclosure, where tourists come to see the 800kg beast known as Brutus.

So Mr Buckland, 47, went up the tree to cut the top off with a chainsaw. Before long, the croc was reaching almost 5m up the tree.

"He was moving at a hundred mile an hour," Mr Buckland said. "I wouldn't have thought something so big could move so quick. I sacrificed my chainsaw. It was either that or me, so he got the chainsaw."

(The man jumped out of the tree to get away from the crocodile.)

God spared the city of Darwin because He delights in mercy and because no doubt people were praying. However, God warns that Darwinian theory will one day bite fallen man (like a crocodile), that is, it will bring due punishment like a great storm upon the inhabitants of the earth for replacing the honor of the Creator and giving it to the dragon/crocodile, who claims to be the storm-god. And the punishment will be severe --- like the bite of a chainsaw --- for the haughtiness of man will be cut down, and the top of the evolution-tree with it!
