Was the day and hour, the location, the type of buildings, the attacker, and the result of the attack --- along with encoded pictures --- in a bible-code riddle posted on the Internet 7 weeks before the event happened?
(Please note, this site does not endorse attempting to predict the future by the bible codes. These things were noticed after the code had been put out some 50 days earlier.)

Firstly, our prayers are for the welfare of those hurt by this horrible tragedy.
However, the question on many minds is this:
Why did God not restrain this evil from happening?
Does the mene-tekel-peres bible code
that was put out on the Internet
a month before this calamity happened
have anything to say about it?
The answer to this second question is 'yes.'
Here is how:
The mene-tekel bible code is primarily a riddle about Jesus Christ---but secondarily it applies to Babylon.
Who is Babylon?
The bible refers to a mystery Babylon:"And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH," (Revelation 17:5).
I left a message about this bible code on an internet bulletin board just a couple of days before the Twin Tower disaster, and there I suggested in passing that this code might also be a prophecy about America.
Many regard New York, New York as the commercial Babylon of the world, and Washington D.C. as its political capital. These were the very two targets chosen by these wicked terrorists.
Please hear me clearly: What I am about to reveal in this document does not mean that the people who perished are more wicked than others---Indeed, doubtlessly many of God's precious blood-bought saints have perished there too, (Revelation 18:4). It could have been my flesh and blood who perished. Nevertheless, the following words of Jesus are very relevant to this tragedy:
"There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish," (Luke 13:1-5).
Similarities of the 'Mene-Tekel' Bible Code
with the Twin-Tower Trade Center Disaster
"And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come, (Revelation 18:2, 10).
- The mene-tekel-peres bible code forms two pictures, each of a long rallying-banner (flag) held against the walls of two tall buildings that beckon others to attack her. At the top of each building composing the 'flag' are three coins---symbols of trade and commerce. (The observation deck of the Trade Tower did in fact have ancient coins decorating it! See note at bottom.)
"Set up a standard (banner pole) against the walls of Babylon," (Quoted from Jer. 51:12a before the Trade Tower disaster.)
(The picture on the right was discovered some months before the disaster. At the time it was found, I wondered what the banner-pole was set against---I knew it was Babylon, but what exactly in Babylon? I thought, perhaps, that it was her walls. After the Trade Centers collapsed, I soon realized what they were being held against!
The picture on the left was found by accident on the day the mourning for the Towers ended, and the half-mast flags were raised. It was discovered when I was looking for Jesus (Yeshua). All the bible codes unravel---even about current events---when you look for Him. Like it or not, He is the key to all prophecy. Are you curious about current events in prophecy---seek a biblical revelation of Jesus and revelations about other things might be added to you! But seek insight into current news events without reference to Christ, and you will end up bewildered. All codes have their primary application in Him, and only secondarily in other things. "For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy," [Revelation 19:10].)
The rallying-pole/flag on the left has the letters upside down. This is because, just as the Hebrew of the bible codes can be read backward, so can the pictures. Both banner-poles read from the bottom and wind around at the flag at top. (We read from the pole on the right in the second part of this document.) It is important to realize that the excerpts presented in this document on the Trade Centers are taken from the 1000-word bible code that finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ. However, it is written in such a way that one can see the Trade Center disaster in it as well. Therefore, look for Jesus first, and the Trade-Center disaster second. In this way, the codes remain hidden to all but those who have an eye single for the glory of Jesus the Messiah.The tall pole on the left reads:
"Where is Jesus? Their deep desire fell (or "trembled," or "writhed in pain"), but His power is in the sufficiency of the blood." (The words coiling around the flag are recorded in the next point.) The phrase, "their deep desire" refers positively to Jesus, "the desire of all nations," but negatively to "money," the greed of man. This is how it is used in Habakkuk as well.
"For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts,... (Hag. 2:6-8).
We will touch upon this important prophecy again in the second part of this document. Amazingly, the above prophesy was given exactly 1260 x 2 years ago---to the day!
- The next similarity of the mene code with the Twin Tower disaster is that the headquarters of the attack was located in Afghanistan, which was part of Ancient Persia. Note that it was Persia that conquered ancient Babylon the night the writing appeared on the wall. (China is located on Afghanistan's eastern border whereas Iran is on its west side.) A small excerpt from the coin-flag at top reads:
"O' Persia, they afflicted me! I will sleep the sleep of death.
I will be divided asunder!
Yet as a Lamp, I will not sleep his death, O' China!"
Other similarities between the 'Mene-Tekel' Bible Code with the Twin-Tower disaster are...
The similar themes of judgment, height (and bringing down low),
and on "Thomas," ("The Twin").Also, the emphasis on total severing (destruction).
The overriding theme of commerce.
(The whole bible code is built upon the symbols of money, ["coins."]
The twin towers are reminiscent of the tower of Babylon in Genesis 11.

The writing on the wall came during Belshazzar's party, when he was "praising the gods of silver and gold," (Daniel 5:23). Is it really any different in God's eyes?---Was not the World Trade Centers the epitome of "praising the gods of silver and gold?"

This is a quote from a 1989 article called "Towers of the gods." (Update: It seems that the article is no longer on Net.) Compare the ancient coins that form the top of the Twin Towers (in the bible-code pictures) with the comments in this article. The parallels are as obvious as they are striking.
"What do these changes in architecture reveal about changes in society? What can they say about an age whose ‘will’ is otherwise still a mystery to itself? A clue can be found inside the Trade Center by riding its innovative elevator system to the observation deck.
An exhibit on display there illustrates the history of trade by arranging various artifacts - ancient coins, wampum beads, old paper bills, whatever - along a time line. Turning to the windows, one can see beyond the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to the Atlantic Ocean, the maritime highway that first gave New York access to the world’s markets. Looking up the length of Manhattan, high above the great metropolis, one can also envision the Trade Center itself as an artifacts: a giant symbolic antenna in the electronic global economy, sending and receiving great sums of money the new-fangled way - at the speed of light."
